1. Korevaer – A clipper built in 1911 in Woubrugge, which originally transported parcels and loads between the Zealand islands and the Rotterdam harbour – view sailing holiday.

2. The Aldebaran was built in 1893 in Geertruidenberg as a two-mast river clipper. The ship transported freight in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium until 1940 – view sailing holiday.

3. The ship De Luciana was built in 1916 in the Netherlands as a herring boat without engine. In 1928 the ship was sold to Sweden and sailed until well in the Seventies as a freight ship in the Scandinavian waters – view sailing holiday.

Hi.
I have just taken up dinghy sailing and am very much still a novice. In the future though I am planning to buy my own boat. Can you recommend a boat that I can handle on my own but, will also be suitable (when I’m ready) to take my wife and two young sons out on. I will be looking for a used boat from about a thousand pounds upto two thousand. Another consideration is my height, I’m six four. Any suggestions will be most welcome. Also can you recommend a a good training boat for me, the club Toppers are just too small.

Cheers.

Sailaboat.tv has the answer with online sailing training videos. The 20 videos, between 5 and 15 minutes duration, show how to sail a single or two handed dinghy and are streamed directly to your PC.

We have used different training and filming techniques that, when brought together, make these videos a powerful learning experience.	See preview clips of all these videos on our website, http://www.sailaboat.tv/.
