Enterprise vs GP14 Vs Wayfarer

Hello, I am considering a number of boats as a family day sailor which has the potential to do more if need be. I am currently looking at the Enterprise, GP14′s and Wayfarers. Enterprise Dinghy – fitting rollocks.

Can anyone help? I recently bought an all-wooden Enterprise, and although I’ll be mostly sailing her, I’d like, if possible, to take the children fishing from time to time. Is it possible to fit rowlocks to an Enterprise, and if so, where should they be positioned? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Todd

Enterprise dinghy rowing system

I’m in the process of re-furbishing a 1970′s Enterprise and wish to use it on the sea. I previously had a Lune Longboat which you could row if the wind died down. Does anyone know if there is a rowing system which can be stowed when not in use?
