Enterprise vs GP14 Vs Wayfarer

Hello, I am considering a number of boats as a family day sailor which has the potential to do more if need be. I am currently looking at the Enterprise, GP14′s and Wayfarers. People have said that a fiberglass Enterprise would be easier to launch compared to a GP14 or Wayfarer, however ‘may’ be just [...]

Enterprise Dinghy – fitting rollocks.

Can anyone help? I recently bought an all-wooden Enterprise, and although I’ll be mostly sailing her, I’d like, if possible, to take the children fishing from time to time. Is it possible to fit rowlocks to an Enterprise, and if so, where should they be positioned? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Todd

I had a mirror years ago and would like to build one. Does anyone know where to get a set of plans? I don’t want to buy a kit just the plans as I am in the USA and would like to build from scratch. Thank you for any assistance anyone may afford me.

Topper Mango Portsmouth Yardstick

Has anyone got any further feedback on the PY for the Magno as our club has just purchased one as a club boat, I see they quote 1175 but given it’s weight, sail area and spinaker that seems much too slow, if we use that I don’t thing any of our Grads will have a [...]

The centre spine is also rotten at the stern. I am debating whether or not to take on this boat for a [...]
