Sadler 25 Engine
I’ve recently bought a sadler 25 1980′s build the mini 6 petter engine needs replacing – looking for a yanmar 10 but can you advise me would a volvo 12 hp twin cylinder diesel fit in and how would this compare re weight versus the petter or yanmar 10hp – can you advise please. I too have a Sadler 25. I have just fitted a yanmar gm10 it fits perfectly. Get back if you need any more info. Top speed 6-6.5 knots cruise 4.5 knots. I have a mini 6 pare engine shaft and folding prop if anyone is interested.

I’m currently fitting a Beta 10 into our Sadler 25. Its a neat fit but goes in OK. Recommended.
